The Progress of Morgan

This is what he had to say about some steps he has learned:

“I am very interested by the behaviour of leather. It seems to have a life of its own and I love how it ages, but I find it very intriguing that it goes soft in water, and then hard after it dries out. I would have thought it’d just go back to its “normal” pre wet softness, but interestingly It goes hard and builds a form memory so to speak.  I’ve recently purchased a stitching pony and boy does it make a difference. I used to hold the sheaths with my knees while I stitched! I found Toko Pro to burnish super quickly and produce a higher quality finish to bee’s wax. I’ll be using it for all my leather projects from now on”

Morgan also says: " I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for the great customer service and affordable products which has ultimately allowed me to start leather working. I am into bush craft and working with hand tools, so making leather things for my tools was what drew me into leather work. I am now an amateur knife maker, and I am into forging tools in my backyard blacksmith workshop  and my goal was to learn how to craft leather sheaths for my knives and axes. You’ll be able to see my progression of learning, where I've experimented."
