A Fine Saddle Restoration

Lee says the saddle was locally made, some 35 years ago in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria by Barry McDonald of McDonald’s Saddlery, which is now owned by the Shugg family.
Lee used Fiebings liquid saddle soap, Neatsfoot Oil and Aussie Conditioner all of which she purchased online. Ray Holes Vaquero Rawhide cream was also used.

She disassembled the saddle to clean it and as she says, it took about 10 hours of love to complete! This of course is not including days of drying time between washing, oiling, conditioning and finishing with Fiebings Tan Kote

What a challenging but reward job well done, Lee, you should be proud. It has come up a treat!
